The Government of Guyana through the Ministry of Natural Resources further signaled its intent to make Wildlife conservation and management a top priority when Minister of Natural Resources, Honourable Raphael Trotman tabled the Wildlife Conservation and Management Bill for approval in Parliament in May 2016, The bill, when approved will pave the way for the establishment of the Wildlife Conservation and Management Authority.
